Visual live performing: Infidel
Flxer.net crew: Nikky + META2 + Cool79

The radiodd festival begins at Rashomon Club with an electro game party to start celebrating a playful and romantic vision of the freakiest electronic music, since the very first notes. Dj Kuoko presents the merry melodies of his Romantic Pianella solo project, naive music imported straight from Sicily for the sweetest teenage parties, also featuring the romantic moving visions of Nikky.
Rodion the astrorobot lands in peace to sing adventurous space tales that taste like electro macaroni flavoured by the Infidel video sauces.
From Bruxelles there comes Dj Athome, the official dj of Pneu records, independant label promoting a pop'n'punk vision of the 80s wave since 2000.
The very shining stars of the night will be Bodestandig 2000, a german nerd duo with a cult LP out on Aphex' Rephlex Records. For the first time in Rome they'll play their surrealistic rock show: it will be cabaret, tracker visions, atari phunk, music generated through old chips and Oktober Fest choruses.
The closing match of the party will see Hugo Sanchez el Tremendizmo (the official radiodd dj) versus Mark4Ostia, founding father of the balearic turbo music, in a childish discoring clash: incredibly strange dancefloor tunes, that puts Ibiza and Riccione along the shores of the blonde Tiber river. Live visuals by Cool79 and META2.
Game is not over.

Festival: mi ruba l’anima! (it's stealing my soul!)

Saturday June 10th
Brancaleone, via Levanna 11
from 22.30h
entrance: 7e

featuring:
Felix Kubin live (A-Musik, DE)
Radiodd Live Show: Festival !
Micropupazzo vs GM POP live
Økapi dj set
The Beards dj set
Postalmarket dj set
Visual live performing:
Flxer.net crew > Nikky + Paky + Pintaycolorea

The heart of the radiodd festival lies in the saturday night act at the Brancaleone venue, where the radiodd Live Show will take place. For the second consecutive year (in 2005 it was at Dissonanze festival) the radiodd Live Show will introduce next summer' hits, this time through a real singing competition.
On stage we'll see all of the singing Radio Digital Delicatessen stars: Ami Kristi, Anna Clementi, Rodion, The Wow’s, La Cinese, Lady Marù, Re:Joyce, Phonola.
Once again the huge freak circus will by hosted by the fabulous Nikky and her sexy companion Jemma Temp together with the Pigneto Quartet small orchestra.
The popular voting, the inevitable expert jury, the chorus and illustrious exotic guests:everything is ready to crown next summer' hit.
The show will unveil many other surprises. Starting with the Micropupazzo vs. GMPOP live set: for the first time in history they will clash on the unbeliavably twisted music field. Micropupazzo is the italian duo (acually splitted between Rome and Koln) featuring stupid and unfair sounds. GMPOP will face them with his hungry and always broken handy tape player fed with 90ies trash-dance tapes. With Paki visuals.
Aus sparkling Germany, here it comes the genius of Felix Kubin with his quirky and spacey circus music, a delicious no-skool dadatronic pop. His futurist songs are a perpetual challenge against gravity force. He set up one of the most exciting among modern labels, called Gagarin Records. His latest album 'Matki Wandalki' received a special mention at the Ars Elettronica festival. And he will be playing in Rome for the very first time.
Later on Økapi, a dare-devil sound mammal, will drive the dancefloor with his exquisite collection of techno-mazurkas, japanese waltzes and countryside amenities, to be served together with Pintaycolorea's visuals.
Other premieres for Rome and its neighbourhood: The Beards, two dj and visual artists from Manchester, close to Skam Records and organizers of the Homoelectric queer party, with their languid and perverse selections; Postalmarket, bolognese gameboy rocker, in an acid and satisfying 8-bit dj set made with vintage videogame chips.
Radiodd festival, ti ruba l'anima!

A rivederci Roma!

Bean Onda Beach, Focene, Viale di Focene 183
from 17.30h
Free Entrance

featuring:
Dada Swing live
Giannimusic live
Homunculus-1.1 live
Nicola Catalano dj set

The radiodd festival closes its doors on a sandy beach togheter with the beginning of the new Half Die Festival, migrating from the Portonaccio roofs and landing on the exotic Focene beach. The live sets will begin soon before sunset, traditional zenith of the roof festival.
Between sunbeds, flippers and sunglasses, here they are the synchro swimming lessons held by the fabulous Nikky Agua Jimmy, the romantic space pop played by Giannimusic (solo project of the Slow Motion leader), the visionary teutonic tropicalism of Homunculus-1.1 and Dada Swing's noisepop: disco, punk, hip hop and no wave, played with a cruel and childish lo-fi attitude.
Fine interlude selections will be offered by Nicola Catalano, always surprising musical explorer and conoisseur.
It will be the festival rendez-vous and the beginning of the new Half Die festival, that will take place at torrid sunsets, on the following June and July sunday afternoons.
A rivederci, Roma.
